Revitalization of the MS1 building

Thanks to the involvement of funds from the Regional Operational Program of the Lodzkie Region under priority axis V Social infrastructure, measure V.4 Cultural infrastructure and the Lodzkie Region, it was possible to implement an investment including the modernization of the facade of the Palace from the courtyard side and conservation and restoration works in the interior. The historic interiors of the reading and mirror rooms have undergone conservation work, thanks to which you can now admire all the architectural details of the rooms. The colors of the Neoplastic Room, designed in 1948 by Władysław Strzemiński, were also reconstructed. A significant part of the Palace's rooms have been adapted for exhibition activities, which will start on April 26. Two projects will be presented in the restored ms1 building. The Neoplastic Room will return as a permanent element of the offer. The second event is the opening of the exhibition "Cezary Bodzianowski. This Place Is Called the Hole", premiered at the turn of 2012 and 2013 at the Museum Abteiberg in Mönchengladbach (Germany).

Renovated facade of the Palace

Work related to the revitalization of the facade of the Maurycy Poznański Palace is nearing completion. Last year, the facade of this building on the side of Gdańska and Więckowskiego Streets was renovated. This year, thanks to EU funds, the works are continued, resulting in a fully renovated facade of the building, this time facing the inner courtyard. After completing this stage, the work will move to the interior of the Palace.
