Museum Research Center
The Museum Research Center handles the research programme of the Museum of Art. It organises an coordinated seminars, lectures, debates, film screenings and publications: both accompanying current exhibitions as well as those that are a part of an independent programme. The Museum Research Center was established in 1994 as a result of a contract between Museum of City Lodz and British Council Poland. Initially it was associated with the Museum of City Lodz and since 1998, the organization of the The Museum Research Center is held by Museum of Art in Lodz. In 2009 it begun its new form of activities as a research institution.
