Moss overgrows my body – movement activities in the Museum garden
At the Gifts of Friendship exhibition, we will look for points where nature and human activity intersect. Then, in the museum garden, using simple movement and mindfulness practices, we will explore movement at our own pace - sometimes subtle and internal, at other times freer and more expressive. We will seek to identify within our bodies what creates a sense of lightness and flow, as well as what provides support and stability. These practices will offer an opportunity to create a personal bodily landscape - a map of sensations and feelings that helps us see ourselves as a whole, inextricably connected to nature. Ways of Unwinding
- July 18, 2026 (Saturday), 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
The theme of our painting session will be handmade paper—a unique material prized for its distinctive texture, combining artisanal craftsmanship with the concept of giving paper a second life. We will explore how it is made and learn how to incorporate it into the creative process. We will experiment with color, composition, and texture to create paintings that interpret the nature around us.
Join us for a unique outdoor workshop where art meets nature and ecology. This event is for anyone wishing to slow down, immerse themselves in the creative process, and experience it in an unconventional way.
- August 8, 2026 (Saturday), 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Join us for an outdoor painting challenge! This time, we will focus on experiencing the world through senses other than sight. Drawing inspiration from the scents, sounds, and textures of the MS1 garden, we will translate our impressions onto paper. The resulting sketches will not be faithful reproductions of the surrounding landscape, but rather a record of our emotions and experiences in the here and now.
We invite everyone to this outdoor painting session—whether you want to break away from routine, try your hand at creating art, or simply spend the weekend in an inspiring setting. No rush, no pressure, and no prior painting experience required.

Ceramics Workshops

Join us for ceramics workshops where we will approach sculpture as a design process—moving from concept and sketch to the construction of a spatial form. Drawing inspiration from works featured in the exhibition, we will examine the relationship between plane and volume, exploring how simple elements can create complex structures and interact with the surrounding space. This is an opportunity to experiment creatively with form, construction, and material, and to see how a design transforms into a ceramic object.
