Regulations for visiting ms¹ and ms²

General Information

  1. A valid admission ticket is required to enter the exhibition halls. 
  2. Purchasing a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Regulations. 
  3. The last entry to the exhibition halls is permitted 30 minutes before the exhibitions close. 
  4. During the visit, visitors must follow the instructions of guides, exhibition staff, and the Museum's security personnel. 

Visiting Rules and Supervision of Children

  1. Visitors must maintain order and behave respectfully on Museum premises. 
  2. Entry is prohibited to persons who are intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or whose behavior may endanger the collections or other Museum property, disturb other visitors, or violate generally accepted standards of conduct in public places. 
  3. Before entering the exhibition halls, visitors are required to leave the following items in the cloakroom: 
    1. large backpacks, bags, and suitcases, 
    2. wet outerwear, 
    3. umbrellas.  

Touching exhibits and interior furnishings is prohibited unless otherwise indicated in the exhibit instructions. 

  1. Visitors are liable, including financially, for any damage caused to exhibits or other Museum property. 
  2. Parents and guardians of minors are required to supervise them at all times during their visit and are fully responsible for their actions, including any damage caused to Museum property. 

Safety

  1. The following are prohibited:
  2. bringing firearms, flammable materials, or sharp and dangerous objects into the Museum, 
  3. entering areas not intended for visitors (such as offices, technical facilities, storage rooms, or staff-only stairways), 
  4. operating equipment used for films and presentations without authorization, 
  5. eating, drinking, or smoking (including e-cigarettes) in the exhibition halls. 

Animals in the Museum

  1. Animals are not permitted in the exhibition halls, except for assistance dogs accompanying persons with disabilities. 
  2. Assistance dogs are not required to wear a muzzle or be kept on a leash; however, their handlers are fully responsible for their behavior and any damage they may cause. 
  3. Visitors may bring dogs (or other domestic animals) onto Museum grounds, excluding the exhibition halls, provided that: 
    1. the animal is under the supervision of an adult,
    2. the animal is kept on a leash, 
    3. the owner accepts full responsibility for the animal's behavior and any damage it may cause, 
    4. animals are not permitted to participate in workshops. 
  4. The Museum reserves the right to restrict entry with an animal without providing a reason. 
  5. Animals displaying aggressive behavior are not permitted. 
  6. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals. 

Photography and Filming

  1. Photography and video recording are permitted on Museum premises under the following conditions: 
    1. they do not disturb other visitors, 
    2. no flash, additional lighting equipment, tripods, or selfie sticks are used.  
  2. Photographs and video recordings may be used only for private purposes. 

The Museum is not responsible for violations of visitors' personal rights or any other harm caused by third parties taking photographs or videos. 

  1. The Museum reserves the right to prohibit photography of specific exhibits. Such areas are clearly marked with no-photography signs. 

Special Content and Medical Warnings

  1. The Museum reserves the right to display exhibits that, due to their subject matter (e.g., violence, nudity, or controversial content), may be considered disturbing or inappropriate for minors or sensitive individuals. 
  2. Such exhibits and exhibition spaces are clearly marked with warning signs or informational notices before entry. 
  3. Visitors, particularly parents and guardians of minors, are responsible for reviewing these warnings and deciding whether to view such exhibits. 
  4. The Museum is not liable for any discomfort resulting from exposure to such exhibits, provided that appropriate warnings have been displayed. 
  5. Some exhibits may contain high-frequency light effects that can trigger photosensitive epileptic seizures in susceptible individuals. These areas are clearly marked before entry. 

Opening Days and Hours

  1. Admission to the Museum is free on Fridays. On other days, ticket prices are determined by the current price list available at the ticket office and on the Museum website. 
  2. The exhibition halls at ms1 and ms2 are open: 
    1. Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
    2. Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
    3. Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
    4. Friday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 
    5. Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
    6. Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
  3. The bookstore at ms2 is open: 
    1. Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
    2. Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
    3. Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
    4. Friday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 
    5. Saturday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
    6. Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
  4. The Museum is closed on Mondays. 

Final Provisions

  1. The Museum premises are monitored by CCTV, and recordings may be used in the event of security incidents. 
  2. Persons who violate these Regulations may be asked to leave the premises without a refund of the admission fee.
