Katarzyna Kobro pioneered in incorporating body and movement of the beholder in the total composition of the sculpture which was opening up to the space surrounding it. Her theory and practice is an amazing opportunity to reflect on the basic elements of experiencing the arts - connections between art works, space, perception, corporality, and movement. Alongside Kobro’s works and texts we can also reflect on the social relevance of art understood as a laboratory for experimenting with embodied perception and the influence of modeling the space of everyday human behaviour.
