How is It Done?

Educational workshop for the youngest (children over 4)
conducted by Marta Wlazeł/Małgorzata Wiktorko.

Little participants will learn about the techniques used by the artists of the 20th century avant-garde. They will get to know the matter that makes up a work of art (in this case: canvas stretcher and paint, the structure of canvas and painting, etc.); most of all, they will debunk the painter’s profession as an issue accessible to only a few: the participants will have a chance to learn professional names of techniques they already know, such as goffrage or frottage.
During the workshop the participants will use modelling paste and texture gel, acrylic paint, finger paint, they will use straw plaiting, stamps and even vegetables to create unique, avant-garde works of art that would make Max Ernst proud. Here is an opportunity to ash, “how is it done?”

The number of possible participants is limited, registration required. Applications can be placed by phone at 605 060 063, Monday to Friday 8.00 a.m. – 4 p.m. participation cost: 10 PLN.
