Ewa Partum. Nothing Stops the Idea of Art
Ewa Partum is a precursor of conceptual, feminist and critical art in Poland, an author of actions and installations in public space, performances, films, photographs and visual poetry.
In a bilingual publication „Nothing Stops the Idea of Art” the Partum’s oeuvre has been explored in texts by: Jean-François Chevrier, Karolina Majewska, Dorota Monkiewicz, and Ewa Majewska and in the interview with the artist conducted by Maria Morzuch, the curator of the exhibition „Nothing Stops the Idea of Art”.
Together with papers that try to grasp the phenomenon of Ewa Partum’s art, the publication includes a vast documentation of her works and the solo exhibition that was on view at the Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź at the turn of 2014 and 2015.
