Urban planners and Renaissance and Baroque architects tried to materialise their dreams of streets and buildings such as Palmanova, Zamość, Freudenstadt, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Petersburg. What do they look like? What solutions have been brought by modernity? How did the plans of civilization-realeted modernisation influence the shape of Zlin? Can Lodz be transformed into an ideal city?

In the ms2 hall the participants of the workshops and all Museum guests will create a model city. Subsequent groups will construct new districts: residential, industrial, one for entertainment or leisure. A railway station, harbour, airport, launch site, teleportation station will be built. Or maybe the metropolis of tomorrow will be equipped with solutions we have not yet dreamt of?
