Bodzianowski / Konieczny / Uklański / Warpechowski
The exhibition Bodzianowski, Konieczny, Uklański, Warpechowski is concerned with direct references, continuations and connections between the artists of the 1970s and the young generation of artists who began their activity in the 1990s. It tells the story of a particular tradition of the Polish avant-garde that started with the artists connected with the conceptual breakthrough in the art of the 1960s. and 1970s (of strong existential roots), such as Marek Konieczny or Zbigniew Warpechowski, to their students such as Piotr Uklański and Cezary Bodzianowski, who define the shape of contemporary artistic scene to a significant degree.
