An artist is not only a scruffy genius who improvises on the top of Mont Blanc. He/she is also a modest analyst who willingly subjects his/her work to arbitrary systemic rules. This is his/her only choice: each movement within the creative process is forced by the accepted algorithm of action. Algebra, geometry, probabilism, philosophy of language – they create art.
