Museum for 1 zł

From 1 September, thanks to the Accessible Culture – Museum for 1 zł programme organised by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Republic of Poland, everyone aged 8–26 will be able to visit the permanent exhibitions of Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź for a symbolic fee of 1 zł.

The 1 zł tickets provide admission to the permanent exhibitions at Herbst Palace Museum and ms2. The programme offers an opportunity to discover the Museum’s outstanding collection of modern and contemporary art presented in the exhibition Ways of Seeing. Collection of Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź. Divided into thirteen chapters and spanning three floors of the ms2 building at 19 Ogrodowa Street, the exhibition explores the relationship between seeing and, among other things, memory, identity and knowledge.

Herbst Palace Museum, at 72 Przędzalniana Street, features two permanent exhibitions. The Herbst Palace. Historic House presents reconstructed historic interiors and the palace garden, while The Herbsts. Unfinished Stories explores the history of the industrialist family at the turn of the 20th century.

  • The 1 zł ticket is available to visitors aged 8–26.

Herbst Palace Museum, 72 Przędzalniana Street

  • Monday: closed
  • Tuesday: 9:00 am–4:00 pm
  • Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 am–5:00 pm
  • Thursday: 12:00 pm–7:00 pm

Children aged 7 and under can visit Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź free of charge. Fridays remain free admission days for all visitors.
