The Great Feast
The Great Feast is a food performance exploring the connections between art, social inequality, and the symbolism of food as a form of expression. The work references the Danish film Babette's Feast (1987), in which the protagonist offers a lavish banquet as an act of selfless art and love.

The artist reflects on the precarious situation of creators – the irony of the saying appetite grows with eating, which takes on a bitter meaning for artists. Referencing the film, observers will be able to sit down to a feast served by the artist and taste edible artworks.
The performance simultaneously serves as a commentary on the history of Łódź, a city marked by contrasts between factory owners' fortunes and the widespread poverty of textile industry workers. The central focus consists of food-objects that, in a performative context, become metaphors for both artistic sacrifice and social divisions. The work connects the creator's personal experience with a broader narrative about access to cultural and material goods.
