Due to the closing of the exhibition "In the Eye of the Storm. Modernism in Ukraine" from January 30 to January 31, 2025, the MS2 branch at Ogrodowa Street 19 will extend its opening hours until 8:00 p.m.
On January 29, 2026, the Library in the MS1 branch, Gdańska Street 43, will be open from 2:30 p.m.

We invite you to book educational guided tours of the current exhibitions. Learn more about the avant-garde roots of contemporary art and the fascinating history of the Museum Sztuki in Łódź. It’s a great opportunity to spend quality time surrounded by art with a group, family, friends, loved ones, or even on your own.

Available tours:

  • Educational tour of the exhibition Neoplastic Room: Initial State – the heart of the Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz, the Neoplastic Room, is a perfect starting point for an adventure with contemporary art.

 

  • Educational tours of temporary exhibitions – discover the surprising concepts of contemporary artists currently showcased at the  Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz.

 

  • Educational tours in English of current exhibitions – we introduce international visitors to the global history of the Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz, highlighting works by artists from around the world.

 

  • Tours of the interiors of ms1 and the study storage – a walk through spaces such as the historic staircase or the Warehouse J is a unique opportunity to explore the museum from behind the scenes, areas not usually accessible to visitors. These tours are available on Fridays between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

 

Learn the incredible history of the site, uncover the secrets of the Poznański family, and enjoy fascinating fun facts. All this is shared during a tour of the Maurycy Poznański Palace, the ms1 building at Więckowskiego 36 (entrance from Gdańska Street).
