Henryk Stażewski, a legendary figure, was one of the true pioneers of the avant-garde of the 1920s and 1930s. The title "late style", the symptoms of which we can already observe in the 1950s, largely coincide with his post-war work, when he struggled with the challenge of being an artist in changing socio-political and cultural conditions, officially praised, becoming an important figure for the opposition the 1980s, which he approached.

Incoming exhibition is a review of selected works by the artist: drawings, paintings, ceramics, objects and installations that make up the title series "Post quam", prepared from 1979 to the present day. The works are inspired by events from the artist's life, which, as he writes, "left indelible furrows in thoughts, feelings and understanding" and are autobiographical in nature.
