The exhibition catalogue „Frankness and Lies. The Ethics of the Lodz Kaliska Works from the Years 1979-1989” . The publication contains rich illustration material and texts by Jarosław Lubiak – the exhibition’s curator, Magdalena Ujma and Małgorzata Ludwisiak.

“The exhibition was an attempt to re-visit the artistic practice of the group in the first decade of its activity. Łódź Kaliska was established in 1979 by Marek Janiak, Jerzy Koba, Andrzej Kwietniewski, Adam Rzepecki, Andrzej Świetlik, and Andrzej Wielogórski. Since the very beginning honesty with themselves also, or perhaps even primarily, in physiological reflections, irrational tomfoolery and  ill motivation were juxtaposed with buffoonery and hypocrisy they observed around, especially in artistic circles. Artistic ethics means honesty of showing your true colours, even if that challenges officially acknowledged cultural and social conventions ...”
