We invite you for the artist talk with Aldo Giannotti, who visits us as a part of the project 'Museum as a Toolbox'. Museums from Austria, Croatia, Estonia, Lichtenstein and among them Muzeum Sztuki in Lodz invites artists, but also curators and educators from various countries to work together on the subject of communication of the museum in the future – confronted with two problem areas: working with 'young adult' audience aged 15-25 (identified as hard to reach) and collaboration with local initiatives.
Aldo Giannotti - visual artist, lives and works in Vienna. Studied at the academy of fine arts in Carrara/Italy, Wimbledon/England and München/Germany. Various projects, single- and groupshows. Works with media in installations, videos and photography (i.e. artlab Galerie Hilger Wien, Künstlerhaus Wien, Kunsthalle Wien, Sammlung Essl, Lothringerhalle 13 München, Fruchthalle Kaiserslautern, Kunsthallen Nikolaj Kopenhagen). During the presentation artist will introduce the project of artistic intervension in public space in Lodz prepared in cooperation with local teenagers as a part of 'Museum as aToolbox' program.
