The exhibition "Archaic Activities" by Andrzej Zwierzchowski, a painter, professor of fine arts affiliated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, has the character of a retrospective, where one can see works on paper and paintings from 1967-2023. The artist has an extremely wide field of creativity: landscapes, series of portraits, paintings on school, customs, biblical, mythological, artistic or travel themes. These are mostly the author's commentaries, observations, reminiscences, memories and reflections, often tinged with specific humor. The artist also experiments with painting matter and image form, in a spectrum from figuration to abstraction, from a single view to images in a painting, from a single canvas to kaleidoscopic or multi-element compositions.
