Opening
Forms that appear in Fijałkowski's paintings and prints are usually simple and economical, and the spatiality, or illusion, is basically the result of thoughtful divisions of the plane. Visitors are encouraged to enter into a specific kind of relationship with the painting, a personal and particularly attentive one. The message is evocative and moving as it makes reference to archetypes and symbols. The works of the artist flow from a deep spiritual focus and give visitors a sense of inner integrity. They become a vehicle that enables visitors’ encounters with themselves.
